Dear Family and Friends,
A lot has happened thee past couple of weeks! On Valentine's Day we got some awesome gifts from the Chessmore's and celebrated a little with them. Later that day we had a baptism and it went really well! It was sure a good turnout. That day was also transfer calls and we got called just after the baptism and were told that we were both staying in Cass Lake and Elder Beazer was to become the new District Leader! Way cool! I have a lot more time to myself now when he is performing his new duties. Yesterday the season ended for walleye, northern pike, muskie, and perch:( But at least eel pout (some may know them as burbot) are still up for keeping! We went fishing with an investigator this past Friday night at it was way cool! I caught my first 3 eel pout! They are ugly fish in my opinion but they sure do taste great and are exhilarating to catch! Last week was butt-cold and was in the negatives and super windy most of the time. One day reached -50 with wind chill. Yesterday was -27 but I'm sure the wind chill made it much colder! Today is a toasty 20 though!

Dear Friends and Comrades,
I will keep this email short so I can go ice-fishing as long as possible! Woohoo!! Last week I caught some walleye and some northen pike and perch and it was awesome! Today is my bro RJ's birthday and he is the best bro ever and I love him so much! He's 16 and ready to date! What a stud he is. We have a baptism coming up on Valentine's Day!! Holy carp this transfer is flying by so fast.

We had Zone Conference in Fargo, ND, this past Wednesday and it was amazing as usual. One of the Assistants to the President gave an amazing talk about how agency gives us the power to act instead of be acted upon, even in the face of trials. If we continually let our struggles and weaknesses control us then we will never achieve our goals and we will let outside forces control our destinies. We need to be in control and accountable for our destiny.

I also invite everyone out there to do their family history work and perform the temple ordinances for them as well. Joseph Smith told the Church that our most important duty is to missionary work. A year later he told the Church that our most important responsibility is to do the temple work for the dead. How are these two concepts similar? It is because as we bring the opportunities of the everlasting gospel to both the living AND the dead, we are all hastening the work of salvation for ALL of God's precious children.

I love you all:)
Elder Adair
